Where Do Jobs Live?
You have a huge advantage living in an internet world. Back in the old olden days, say, the seventies and eighties, you had to physically find the employer and figure out where they could possibly be posting their job openings. Sometimes, it was on an index card thumbtacked to the bulletin board outside of the career services office (which you then had to copy down on paper in order to have the information to apply—no iPhone camera options back then!). Another source was the classified ads in newspapers. Still more paper, still hard to locate on a timely and regular basis.
